"Evil" is an American mystery television series that premiered on September 26, 2019 on CBS. At the moment, 3 seasons of the series have been filmed, but on July 6, 2022, Paramount + extended it for a fourth season.
A skeptical forensic psychologist joins a future priest and a technical expert to investigate supernatural phenomena.

In the first episode of the first season, a demon named George appears, who begins to haunt the main character. He comes to her and her daughter in dreams, talks to them, scares them, asks questions on sensitive topics and punishes for untruthful answers by cutting off fingers. After waking up, no damage is found on the bodies. The same demon appears in the second episode of the first season, in which it turns out that his appearance is very similar to the appearance of the monster from the streaming series. One of the authors of the series in an interview admits that the image of the monster came to him in a dream.
In the first episode of the first season, a maniac who has killed several people tries to simulate possession by a demon. As a result of the investigation, it turns out that he was deceived by a man who is the main antagonist of the series and is the embodiment of evil.
In the fourth episode of the first season, the characters see ghostly entities using augmented reality glasses. One of them looks like a ghost with burning red eyes (and the light of these eyes remains when a person takes off his glasses). The other looks like a little girl who talks to the players and invites them to play with the Ouija board. After some time, a third spirit begins to emerge from this board, looking like the skeleton of a huge goat with long horns.

In the second episode of the first season, an image similar to a ghost or angel appears on the video of a camera placed in the intensive care unit of the emergency department. The ghost's face resembles the face of a woman who died in the next room a few hours earlier. The nature of the phenomenon remains undisclosed.

In the third episode of the first season, the characters hear a voice from a smart speaker that claims it belongs to a demon from hell. Later it turns out that at least some of these messages were left to the former boss by an aggrieved unfairly dismissed employee. However, later the voice appears in another speaker located in another building. The content of the messages is becoming more personal, and terrifying sounds are heard in the background. It is not possible to fully explain the nature of the phenomenon.
In the fourth episode of the first season, augmented reality glasses turn on by themselves, presumably as a result of the activity of a ghostly entity living in the virtual world.
