Karen Martin reports that she was lying awake in bed (her dog was barking and woke her up). Then she began to hear a strange noise, like a buzzing, but it was so loud that it seemed to her that it must be an airplane. The only thing it didn't go away, it just stayed right in her ear for about 30 seconds, she tried to get up to look out the window to see if the plane was really flying by, but she couldn't move.
She was awake and could move her eyes, but nothing else. Then, she began to feel a strange sensation in her body. It started with her toes and went all the way up to her head, it seemed like she was being "scanned", then it went back to her toes and up again. Then she started to feel that the bed was getting very hot and shaking, normally she would have been very scared, but she just felt calm and like it was safe.
It seemed to her that she was being lifted to the ceiling, and then lowered again. Her bed was still shaking a little. Then the buzzing just disappeared, and when she looked up at the ceiling, she saw two red eyes, they were almond-shaped, like some of the pictures she had seen. They were there for just a second, and then they disappeared.
Her bed stopped shaking, so she tried to get up again, she could, so she looked out the window, there was a clear sky, and everything seemed normal. She even ran outside to make sure that everything was in order.

They were only there for a second and then they were gone. Her bed had stopped shaking so she tried to get up again, she was able to, so she looked out the window, there was clear skies and everything seemed normal.
