Summary: Karen Martin reports lying awake in bed (her dog had been barking and had woken her up). She then began to hear a strange noise like a buzzing, but it was so loud she felt like it had to be an airplane. The only thing was that it didn’t go away, it just stayed right in her ear for about 30 seconds, she tried to get up to look out the window to see if there was in fact an airplane passing, but she couldn’t move. She was awake and aware; she could move her eyes but nothing else. She then began to feel a weird sensation in her body. It began in her toes and came up to her head, it felt like she was being “scanned”, it then went back to her toes and up again. She then began to feel the bed get really hot and shake, she would have normally been really scared but she just felt calm and like it was safe. She felt like she was being pulled up to the ceiling but then she was being put back down. Her bed was still shaking a little. Then the buzzing sound just went away and when she looked at the ceiling she could see two red eyes, they were almond shaped like some of the pictures she had seen. They were only there for a second and then they were gone. Her bed had stopped shaking so she tried to get up again, she was able to, so she looked out the window, there was clear skies and everything seemed normal. She even ran outside to make sure everything was fine.
