Two men driving along an isolated road called Cornelius Pass turned a corner when the headlights of the car noticed something strange.
On the side of the road, they saw a figure that seemed to be riding on its knuckles like a gorilla. He reared up and looked at the witnesses as the headlights hit him. He was about four feet (1.2 m) tall, about the size of a child. His arms were long enough to touch the ground when he bent down. His face was only described as incredibly ugly. He was wearing some clothes and a pointed hat.
The moment he saw the witnesses, he turned around and fired into the grass at the side of the road. It turned out that the witnesses saw what they described as a backpack.
The humanoid quickly disappeared from view.

They saw a figure on the side of the road that appeared to have been walking on his knuckles, like a gorilla. It reared up and looked at the witnesses as the headlights hit it. It was about four ft tall, the size of a child. Its arms were long enough that when it stooped it touched the ground. Its face was only reported as incredibly ugly.
