A thirteen-year-old boy and his younger sister were sleeping alone at home when the boy woke up with a strange feeling that something should not be behind the door or nearby. Then he fell asleep again.
Later, his younger sister woke him up and told him that a creature she thought was a Grammy (a pet that had died shortly before) had appeared in her room. It had huge eyes and fangs.
Not believing her, the older brother told his sister to go back to bed. Later, she woke up again, this time crying. She told him that she saw a blue ray of light enter the window, touch the wall next to the bed, and then slowly climb the wall. When it hit the thermostat, it flew out of the room, and she claimed she smelled burning paper or wood. Despite his fright, the older brother fell asleep again.
The next day, his sister told him that the Grammy-like creature had reappeared in the room and asked the girl to go with her.
The girl asked: "To heaven for the Grammys?» at which the ghost smiled grimly and said, " Not really." After that, she couldn't remember anything.

He then fell sleep again. Later his younger sister woke him up and told him that a creature that she thought was “Grammy” (who had died not long before) had appeared in her room. It seemed to have huge eyes and fang like teeth. Not believing her, the older brother told his sister to go back to sleep. Later she woke up again, this time crying. She told him she had seen a blue beam of light creep in through the window, touch the wall next to the bed, and then slowly ascend the wall. When it hit the thermostat it darted out the room and she claimed there was a smell resembling burning paper or wood. Despite being scared the older brother went back to sleep. The next day his sister told him that the “Grammy” like creature had again appeared in the room and had asked the little girl to go with her. The girl asked “To heaven Grammy?” to which the apparition chuckled somewhat darkly and said “Not exactly.” She could not remember anything after that.
