Although not everyone on all continents will be able to witness this impressive spectacle directly in the sky, nevertheless everyone will be able to watch the broadcast of the eclipse online.
It will be possible to enjoy the spectacle of a partial eclipse in the southeastern Pacific regions, in places in South America (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia). Alas, it will not be possible to look at it offline in Europe.
The eclipse will be visible on Earth from 21:45 on April 30 in Moscow to 1:37 on May 1.
But next time, on October 25 of the same year, according to NASA, Europeans, residents of northeast Africa, western regions of Asia, and the Middle East will already be able to observe the same phenomenon.
In a partial eclipse, the contours of the Moon and the Sun do not match perfectly. The Earth's satellite only partially obscures the daylight due to its trajectory. As a result, the Sun looks like a crescent moon or a "bitten cheese head" in shape.
On Saturday, April 30, the moon will obscure no more than 64% of the solar disk. It will be possible to observe a total eclipse of the Sun in April 2024.
