"Talitha cumi "is the twenty – fourth and final episode of the third season of the X-files. The episode allows you to reveal in more detail the so-called "mythology" of the series. This is the first part of a two-part episode, opening the story that ends in the first episode of the fourth season. The episodes feature the character of an Alien hunter, who first appeared in the sixteenth episode of the second season of the series.
"Talifa-Kumi "is a Syriac expression used in the gospel of Mark (V, 41) and translated as"damsel, arise!".
Mulder and Scully investigate the case of Jeremiah Smith – a man who healed people who came under fire from a psychopath who decided to take over a cafe with a touch of his hand.
At the same time, the Smoker demands something from Tina Mulder, Fox's mother. After he leaves, she has a stroke. Mulder searches for a connection between the two events and finds a stiletto in his mother's house that can kill an Alien hunter.
Phenomena in artwork: The Alien
The episode shows several aliens with the same abilities. One of them is an Alien Hunter that we met in several of the previous episodes.
As before, the aliens look like people, but can change their appearance, turning into any person. In addition, it turns out that they are able to heal wounds and internal injuries (as well as fatal diseases) by applying hands. The alien blood is as green and toxic as the clones shown in episodes 16-17 of the second season. To kill aliens, the same weapon is used as to kill clones – a long needle inserted into the base of the skull.
