We saw an unknown object, shaped like a stick, consisting of several joints. He flew straight up and disappeared after a few seconds.

Guys this sightings is really odd. I admit I not seen many sightings like this over the years. A few in the north arctic region, but this is just confusing. Its over California, one of the busiest states in the US and the line looks huge about 15-25 meters long. Similar craft have been seen on the side over airports in China, but this is vertical. I know UFOs can go from horizontal to vertical without having gravity within the craft affected (1960s Friendship Case, Italy) but this is some serous showing off by aliens.

Subject when shooting with flash or backlight
Reflection of the flash on objects and small living creatures that are out of focus at the time of photographing.
Satellite
Ordinary satellites, which often look like single, not very bright luminous dots moving smoothly in the night sky, are quite often mistaken for UFOs. Investigation
