Initial data
Objects make a complete 360-degree rotation in less than 3 seconds. In a smooth turn at a speed of Mach 0.8, 7 Gs and 14 deg/sec, the F-16 fighter could turn 360 degrees in about 26 seconds. These objects are moving faster than anything you would expect to see, even for a high-speed fighter like the F-16 or F/A-18.
This encounter was captured by the Apache helicopter's multisensory imaging system around midnight on November 6, 2018, about 40 miles northwest of Tucson, Arizona.
The video shows several unknown objects maneuvering in a way that no aircraft does.
Although it is difficult to distinguish in the video, initially it seems that three unknown aircraft are flying in a free triangular formation.
All three unknown objects near the peak of Picacho Peak seem to rotate around each other, as if around an invisible axis, with a stable trajectory to the east. While the Apache begins to take off, unidentified objects continue to rotate in the form of a blunt triangle, and then disappear from sight.
This is one of the first videos made by a military sensor system, demonstrating the very unusual characteristics of a UFO flight, despite the fact that the meeting lasted only a few seconds.
Former US Air Force fighter pilot Chris Lehto said that the objects are undoubtedly anomalous.
"It looks like three separate objects, but located at a distance. The first thing that catches your eye is the speed of acceleration," explained Lehto, who served in the Air Force for 20 years, flying F-16 aircraft.
The analysis of the video taken by the crew of the Apache helicopter gives a lot of information about why the three objects shown in the video are unlikely to be ordinary aircraft created on Earth.
The veteran explains that the acceleration rate of objects is unlike anything he has ever seen in his life as a pilot. In contrast, the objects seem to be moving faster than we might expect to see, even for a high-performance fighter such as the F-16 or F/A-18.
But perhaps the most striking detail revealed by Lehto is that the rotations made by the three objects seem to indicate that the UFOs were not of mechanical origin.
"They change altitude and direction, but it's not like how we would fly, how an airplane would fly," Lehto explained, concluding that based on what he saw on the video, the objects demonstrate characteristics that defy explanation.
As for the circular dancing maneuvers, Lehto explained that they are simply impossible, based on the unusual circular flight path that the objects demonstrate towards the end of the video.
"They make a full 360-degree turn in less than 3 seconds," Lehto explained, adding that "in a smooth turn at a speed of Mach 0.8, 7 Gs and 14 deg/sec, the F-16 can turn 360 degrees in about 26 seconds."
