Initial data
A resident of Garzon (TW) reported that around 11:43 he and four other witnesses saw a "small cigar" when it crossed the sky and headed for the INCO superstog. He said he was looking north when he noticed a very bright white object approaching from the east and moving very slowly to the west.
The day was clear and cloudless, the northwest wind was blowing. He watched her for about 12 minutes until she disappeared into the smoke plume of the INCO super stack. Then he turned around to talk to his two buddies and a couple of neighbors who were with him and discuss what they had just seen.
About three minutes later, they noticed another similar object in the eastern sky and watched it follow the same path, moving very slowly across the sky to the west. They watched it for about ten to twelve minutes, until he also disappeared. According to the main witness, both UFOs were at an altitude of about 2000 feet.
He added that they (cigar-shaped objects) were moving too slowly for an airplane and too fast to be balloons.

A Garson resident (TW) reported that at about 11:43 a.m., he and four other witnesses saw a 'little cigar thing' as it crossed the sky and headed towards the INCO superstack. He said he was facing north when he spotted a very bright, white object as it came in from the east and moved very slowly towards the west. The day was clear and cloudless, with winds blowing from the northwest. He watched it for about 12 minutes until it disappeared in the smoke plume of the INCO superstack. He then turned around to talk to his two buddies and a couple of neighbours who were there with him and discussed what they had just seen. About three minutes later, they noticed another similar object in the eastern sky and watched as it followed the same path, moving very slowly across the sky towards the west. They watched this one for about ten to twelve minutes until it, too, disappeared. The main witness estimated that both UFOs were at an altitude of about 2,000 feet. He added that they (the cigar-shaped objects) were moving way too slow for an airplane and moving too fast to be balloons.
