A resident of Dowling (V.H.) and his wife were driving back from Garson when they noticed an object in the sky moving in a north-north-easterly direction. It was about 9 p.m. and the sky was a little cloudy.
At first the woman thought it was the moon. But at that time the moon was in the southern sky and had the shape of a thin crescent. The object was described as a moon in the last quarter with squares at the ends and yellow in color.
He was seen for about 12-30 seconds before he walked away from them.
