The Wilmington police chief spoke in detail about the person who should warn about the "invader"
The mysterious airship, which is said to have been seen hovering over the Dupont powder factories in New Jersey, seems to have been a star. Residents of Wilmington, across the river from the DuPont plant, in Carney Point, last night saw two stars that appeared about four feet apart and gave a very bright light.
Soon it became known that there were planes around. Police Captain Kelleher from Wilmington, when notified that the car had arrived from Pennsylvania, sent Claybot, the operator, to the City hall tower to find the invader. He saw only a star.

Wilmington Police Chief Detailed Man to Give Warning of "Invader"
The mysterious airship, said to have been seen hovering over the duPont powder plants, in New Jersey, appears to have been a star. Residents of Wilmington, across the river from duPont's, Carney's Point plant, last night, saw two stars, which appeared about four feet apart, and gave a very strong light.
It was soon reported that aeroplanes were about. Police Captain Kelleher, of Wilmington, when notified that a machine was coming from Pennsylvania, detailed Claybot, an operator, to the tower of the City Hall to look for the invader. All he saw was a star.
Hypotheses
The airship

The aircraft lighter than air, which is a combination of the balloon with the mover (usually a screw with an electric motor or internal combustion engine) and the system of the orientation control (steering control), through which the airship can move in any direction regardless of the direction of air flow.
The shape of the airships are divided into:
The heavenly bodies

The brightest heavenly bodies in the sky are Venus, Jupiter, and sometimes Mars and, of course, the Moon.
Venus is the bright yellow of the evening or morning star, shining in the sky on the background of evening or dawn. Maximum brightness of Venus can reach up to 4.3 m, and she is the third brightness of the sun in earth's sky after the sun and the moon. It so well reflects the light of the Sun that it is relatively easy to see and day, especially if you know the location. It manifests itself in the form of tiny blinking white dots.
