Initial data
Recently, new cases of cattle mutilation were recorded in Oregon and Argentina. On August 14, 2021, a purebred Black Angus bull worth $ 4,500 was found dead at the Greenbar Ranch in Wheeler County, Oregon.
The rancher discovered that one eye, nose, ear, part of the muzzle, part of the tail and, of course, the genitals were carefully cut out of the bull's body. He claims that this was done with the help of surgically precise incisions.
This is the fifth case of cattle mutilation in Wheeler County in the last 20 months, according to the local newspaper Capital Press.
In neighboring Harney County, there have been five such cases over the past four years, two of which occurred this year, in May and July.
Sheriff's departments in all Oregon counties exchange information about similar cases, but Wheeler County Sheriff Jeremy Holmes, who investigated some of them, says that all ten such cases in Wheeler and Harney counties are still unsolved, and all ten look eerily similar. At the same time, they notified the FBI about this incident.
Hypotheses
Post-mortem changes

Because ordinary people are rarely familiar with the nuances of postmortem changes in organisms, it can often take them for something mystical.
Gray meat flies eat rotting tissue, leaving a sharp edge. This explains the "surgical" removal of organs and parts of the skin. However, such behaviors of the flies many take for the interference of aliens or attacked by unknown creatures.
