Initial data
Watching the meteor shower in the early morning hours at home, a couple in their 40s were stunned to see a large, dark, fast-moving, triangular-shaped object approaching directly towards them.
The low-flying object had no lights, but had "white circular shapes" at each point of the triangle. As they approached them, the witnesses considered explanations such as a meteor, a flock of birds, and others, but none of them matched what they observed. Moving from north to south, the silent object flew directly overhead and disappeared from view behind the tall trees.
Witnesses estimated that the nearest triangle was less than 500 feet (150 m) away. The FI C. Muncie Coastal Group is investigating.

Summary: While watching a meteor shower during the early-morning hours, at their home, a couple in their 40s were stunned to see a large, dark, fast-moving triangle-shaped object coming directly towards them. The low-flying object had no lights, but did have “white round shapes” at each point of the triangle. As it approached them the witnesses considered explanations such as a meteor, a flock of birds, and others, but none fit what they were watching. Moving from north and south, the silent object passed directly overhead and was lost to sight beyond the tall trees. The witnesses estimate that at its closest, the triangle was less than 500 feet distant. Coastal Group FI C. Muncie is investigating.
