A little after 23: 00 on Sunday, September 11, 2011, I got up from the couch to close and lock the inner front door.

At night and spotted through a screen door over the treetops on the side of the Lakeside Shopping Center in Sterling Heights 3 huge fiery reddish-orange balls appear. They were moving slowly south over Hayes Avenue.

I shouted for my sister Celeste (who shared an apartment with me) to come outside. We both stood in front of our one-story apartment and watched the triangular formation without sound for a minute or two, and I wondered aloud if they could all be connected to each other, and then to the one on the bottom left. they floated behind for about 2 seconds, and then quickly returned to their place, as if to show me that they were not connected.

I told my sister to stay put as I ran back to the apartment to get my new digital camera. I probably only left for about 15 seconds, and when I came back, I noticed that they were moving more in a southeasterly direction, climbing up towards the clouds.

It was a nice day, with moderate temperatures and only a few clouds high. I think we witnessed the entire event for about 4 minutes before they disappeared into the clouds. Unfortunately, I was unable to take the picture due to my nervousness and ignorance of how to use the camera, and all I managed to do was take a picture of the back of my sister's head. I was so disappointed that I couldn't take a photo or video as proof.

I told my sister that no one would believe us. She said something so big over a busy road like Hayes Ave that others would see we couldn't be the only ones, and went to bed. I was disappointed by her lack of interest and was eager to talk more about it.

However, the next day I called the Sterling Heights Police Department to see if they had called the night before, around 11: 10 p.m. of the same surveillance, and was told "no" and that it was probably just a weather balloon from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, which is located about 10 miles east of my apartment. They were definitely not weather balloons.

I told my sister to stay put as I ran back into the apartment to grab my new digital camera. I was prob gone only about 15 seconds and when I returned I noticed that they were moving more in a southeastern direction ascending up towards the clouds. It had been a nice day with mild temperatures and only a few clouds high up. I would guess we witnessed the whole event for about 4 minutes before they disappeared into the clouds. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture because of my nervousness and lack of knowledge on how to use the camera that all I managed was a picture of the back of my sister’s head. Balloons and balls

Balloon — aircraft (balloon), which is used for the flight gas, which is lighter than air.

Balloons - different sizes and shapes size toy, often made of latex. Is inflated with air or other gas. If the gas is lighter than air, the ball gains the ability to fly. The photo looks like a small dot. The colors and the opacity depends on the texture and color of the ball.
