The light accompanied the car from the beginning of the journey to its destination, stopped at a stop, and so on.
The vehicle and the passengers being followed are about a 30-to 40-minute drive from home to their destination. Stopped when the car stopped and seemed to hover. There was only one object. It was the color of an egg, silver with an orange stripe on the side. It stopped when the occupants of the cars stopped, and picked up speed when they approached the forest areas, so that it seemed that the object was trying to knock them out into the clearing.
It was "similar to an airship, but much smaller, except for the passenger space. One witness thought she saw something like green writing on the side. My experience was so similar, my husband and I are a bit scared. It was Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in 2004.
My husband and I would take our kids to his sisters ' house for her to look at while we tried our hand at Black Friday shopping. It was about 4: 30 on the fifth morning. We were traveling southeast on Route 20 in Sussex County, Delaware. I noticed this bright "star" on the left side of the road above the forest. My husband commented on how bright it was.
I said, yes... it must be the north star... but no, it doesn't make sense, since we were going southeast. I'm VERY interested in the stars, the sky, UFOs and the like, so I kept looking at it because it was so bright ... then it crossed the road and was on the right side of the road ...
I told my husband:
"Hm ... Now he's on this side... " (I was sitting in the passenger seat)
We continued on route 20 towards Millsborough, and he followed us. I made a comment as such. It seemed to have stopped in the sky ... then he sped up to keep up with us ... it remained in view of my passenger side window at 20 all the time. It was very high up in the sky, so all we could see was what looked like a round one .. a ball of bright light. When we got to the intersection 113 to turn right, the object was going straight and turned sharply to the right, as if it had turned 90 degrees to stay with us. It scared me a little.
I told my husband:
"Holy shit, he's seriously stalking us… »
We were a little uneasy... but we drove a little further down 113 and then turned into the old Acme car park to get to his mother's house, on Mitchell Road. The object was now above a wooded area next to the railroad tracks behind the apartment complex... to the right of her house. We took our children and went out, and I noticed that the object was still there.
I told my husband:
"He's hovering over the forest there»…
we drove off down the bowling alley on Mitchell Road in Millsborough. I looked back and saw that he was following us again. I exclaimed to my husband:
"He's coming for us! At least we know it's not after the kids (relief)."
We took Route 24, running from Millsborough to Long Neck and to Rehoboth. The object followed us all the way, stopping in the sky, speeding up, as if to keep up with us, but not to pass us. There were only a few other cars on the road near Mounter in Millsborough, so I told my husband that I didn't care how fast he had to go, he had to keep up with the other car ... I didn't want to be the only car on the road for fear of giving what was following us a chance to maybe "light us up."
We stopped at a traffic light and then my husband sped up very quickly to see if the object would do the same thing, he did. Next to the volunteer fire company on 24, I could see the object a little more clearly. It was so bright that it resembled a "shimmering" blue and red, but so bright... like a fluorescent blue light, bright.
As we drove past the new high school and nursing school, I noticed that it would dim, they would lighten up ... then fade ... then they brighten up ... I looked closely ,and it reminded me of the light of a lighthouse... the light scattered and then returned, as if it were making a full circle. It was too high in the sky to be a helicopter, there was no noise, and a normal plane could NOT follow our path to Kmart at about 5: 30 am, as it was. As we turned right onto Route 1, the object turned sharply right again to keep up with us, but now it was visible in my husband's driver's window.
We went to Kmart and the light stopped right above Kmart. I don't know if anyone else noticed, as everyone was so concerned about queuing up for holiday shopping, but I wonder if anyone else traveling down the road noticed. Although it was a bit intimidating, I was quite interested.
And now, after reading such a similar story in the same neighborhood, it's mind-blowing.

Occurred : 9/23/1999 14:00 (Entered as : 092399 1400) Reported: 9/24/1999 19:21 Posted: 3/21/2003 Location: Millsboro, DE Shape: Egg Duration: 45 minutes Followed vehicle and occupants from Home to destination approximately 30 to 40 minutes away. Stopped when vehicle stopped and appeared to hover. There was only one object. It was similar to an egg silver in color with what appeared to be a orange stripe on the side. I noticed as we passed the new high school and nursing school that it would dim, them brighten..then dim..then brighten…I peered close and it reminded me of a lighthouse light..turning…like it was TURNING, the light would dissipate then come back as if it made a full circle. It was too high in the sky to be a helicopter, there was no noise and a normal aircraft would NOT follow our path to Kmart at about 5:30ish in the morning as it was. When we made our right turn onto rt 1, again, the object made a sharp right turn to keep up with us but now it was visible in my husbands driver side window. We went to Kmart and the light stopped right over Kmart. I don’t know if anyone else noticed this since everyone was so preoccupied with getting in line for holiday shopping but I wonder if anyone else traveling the road DID notice. Though it was kind of frightening it was absolutely fascinating to me. And now since reading such a similar story in the same vicinity, whoa, its mind blowing.
