(EFE) - An electrician claims to have been abducted by a UFO while traveling by car between two cities in southern Chile. Gabriel Encina, 47, claims the strange experience happened six years ago, but the suffering he endured has kept him from revealing it until now.
"No one can keep me from thinking that I was abducted by someone or someone. What I saw was not an airplane or a flying saucer - it was just a very bright light falling on my car," Gabriel Encina said in an interview published by El Diario Austral de Temuco.
The ensign notes that he never discussed the subject and that only his wife and close friends knew about it.
"I know others will call me crazy." "Even though time has passed, I'm still a little affected by it. Ever since I was abducted, I've had headaches, migraines, and bone problems, " he explained. "I have trouble sleeping, I'm afraid to dream, and when I close my eyes, I see a light following me, slowly moving towards me."
Chile, a country of 15.5 million people, ranks fifth among the countries with the most UFO sightings after the United States, Peru, Brazil and Russia. The ensign recalled that the incident occurred on June 27, 1996 at 20: 00. (24:00 GMT) while traveling between Los Sauces and Angola in the La Araucania region, 608 km south of Santiago, with clear skies and wet weather typical for this winter season.
"I suddenly saw a very bright white light about three meters in diameter that appeared, descended, and followed me. I accelerated, but, curiously, the car lost speed, " he added.
He says that when the light fell on his car, its glow was so strong that he could make out dust particles floating in the air.
"That's when I felt the pain and lost consciousness."
According to the Ensign, when he woke up, he and his car were about 12 km away. where did the encounter with the alleged UFO come from?
"My legs were shaking and my head was aching. I was surprised that my wristwatch stopped at 20: 05, even though almost an hour had passed since the meeting, " the Ensign explained.
In mid-April 2001, Erasmo Mena, an expert at the Centro Informativo para el Fenomeno OVNI en America Latina (CIFOAL), discovered a "massive" UFO presence between the cities of Angola and Victoria that could be seen with the naked eye. Until 1990, more than 400 cases were reported in Chile, and the northern region of the country was the scene of a number of cases, such as the so-called close encounters of the third type and the abduction of a Chilean army corporal by members of the crew of alleged flying saucers.

(EFE) – An electrician claims having been abducted by a UFO while traveling by car between two towns in southern Chile. Gabriel Encina, 47, states that the strange experience occurred six years ago, but that the anguish he experienced kept him from disclosing it until now. “No one can keep me from thinking that I was abducted by something or someone. What I saw wasn’t an airplane or a flying saucer–it was simply a very bright light that landed on top of my car,” said Gabriel Encina in an interview published by “El Diario Austral de Temuco”.
Encina notes that he never discussed the subject and that only his wife and close friends knew about it. “I know that others will call me a madman.” “In spite of the time that’s elapsed, I’m still a bit affected by it. Ever since that abduction, I have headaches, migraines, and bone trouble,” he explained. “I have difficulty sleeping, I’m afraid of dreaming, and when I close my eyes I see that light following me, moving slowly toward me.”

I accelerated, but curiously, the car lost speed,” he added. He says that when the light landed on his vehicle, the radiance was so intense that he could make out dust particles floating in the air. “That’s when I felt anguished and passed out.”
According to Encina, when he awoke, both he and his car were some 12 km. from where the encounter with the alleged UFO took place. “My legs trembled and my head hurt. I was surprised that my wristwatch had stopped at 20:05 hours, although almost an hour had elapsed since the encounter,” Encina explained.
