The three witnesses were hunting deer in the South Tier when they thought they saw a bear coming out from behind a nearby tree, but the creature ran on two legs, and made unholy noises as it ran after the witnesses. He almost caught up with them as they pulled up to their truck.

Before they could leave, the creature smashed the front window of the truck. They described the creature as a mixture of a gorilla and a human with bright yellow "evil" eyes.
