The only witness observed an object in the shape of a gold-colored octagon, three to four feet (0.9-1.2 m) in diameter, lying on the ground in a field of neighbors.

After observing for two minutes, the object rose slightly and approached the witnesses ' home within 300 feet (90 m). Then the object returned to its original position and began to move.

After about 7 minutes, the object rose and disappeared from view. No sound.
