Initial data
Two young female students had just left a party and were driving through an unfamiliar area of the city when they suddenly came across what looked like a pile of six cars in the middle of an intersection. There were six wrecked cars, but no one was in sight. No emergency vehicles, no flashing lights, no police.
They felt uneasy, and slowly arrived home later than usual.
Concerned about this strange episode, both women decided to use hypnosis to find any hidden information. Apparently, one of the women was abducted, and the other remained in a state of suspended animation in the car.
Several small gray humanoids placed one of the women in the floating object, examined her, and returned her to the car.
She was then told that she would only remember a hit-and-run of six cars.

Summary: Two young women students had just left a party and were driving through an unfamiliar area of the city when they suddenly came upon what appeared to be a six-car pile up in the middle of the intersection. There were six wrecked vehicles but there was not anybody in sight. No emergency vehicles, no flashing lights, or police. They felt uneasy and drove by slowly arriving home later than usual. After being bothered by this strange episode both women decided to use hypnosis in order to find any hidden information. Apparently one of the women was abducted while the other remained in a state of suspended animation in the vehicle. Several short gray humanoids took one of the women into a hovering object and medically examined her then returned her back to the vehicle. She was then told that she would only remember a six-car pile-up.

Hypotheses
False memories

A person remembers an event, a fragment or a detail that did not actually happen.
They can be formed independently or under the influence of methods of memory recovery therapy (Recovered-memory therapy or RMT), such as regressive hypnosis, guided visualization, drug therapy for memory recovery, etc .In this case, there is an effect called imagination inflation.
