The witness went hunting with a bow in an isolated area near the Yuba river and was walking along a deer trail when, after turning a bend, he was stunned to see six four-foot (1.2 m) humanoids standing about 200 yards (180 m) away.
The humanoids were dressed in a silver-blue military-style uniform. They turned to the witness, who could see that they had baby bodies, grayish skin, and very large eyes.
The startled witness pointed the bow at the creatures, but one pulled something from his belt and pointed it at him. The witness remembers being hit by what appeared to be gas and losing consciousness. He awoke an hour later, lying face down on the trail.

The humanoids wore military style silvery blue uniforms. These turned to face the witness who was able to see that they had child-like bodies, grayish skin, and very large eyes. The frightened witness pointed the bow at the creatures but one pulled something from his belt and pointed it towards him. The witness remembers being struck by something resembling gas and passed out. He woke up hour’s later lying face down on the trail.
