The witness said he was behind his house working with equipment. It was a warm, clear Saturday evening. His wife was sleeping inside, and two of his neighbors had just left, stopping to visit him.
He was working with an electric light and suddenly noticed that everything around him was brightly lit. He looked up and saw that the source of the light was a bright orange light located low to the Northwest. He said it was completely quiet and there was only light, no ships in sight.
He went inside to call his two neighbors to come back and see the strange light, but did not Wake his wife, who is fast asleep. Then he returned to the street, and the UFO was there as before.
It had been about ten or fifteen minutes since he first noticed the light, and then it began to move away to the Northwest, where he lost sight of it. Soon his neighbors came, but they did not see the UFO and teased him about the fact that he observed something.
It is reported that the object is located at a distance of 400-500 feet (120-150 m).

He looked up to see that the light source was a brilliant orange-colored light, low in the northwest. He said that it was totally silent and there was only the light, no craft could be seen. He went inside to call his two neighbors to come back and see the strange light, but did not wake his wife who is a sound sleeper. He then went back outside and the UFO was there as it was before. Approximately ten to fifteen minutes had passed since he first noticed the light and it then began to drift away to the northwest where he lost sight of it. Shortly, his neighbors arrived but they did not see the UFO and teased him about seeing things. Object reportedly 400-500 feet away.
