As they parked in the woods, the young couple noticed a large object approaching their car at tree-top level.
The object crossed the logging road near their car, crossed open country to a grove of trees, then turned back. At this point, the driver put the car in gear and started driving at high speed. The object then returned to the road and took up a position directly above the vehicle at a very low altitude.
The object had an L-shaped light pattern on the underside with two bright red lights and one green light. A red light illuminated the car's interior, and both passengers became hysterical.
When the car entered the County road, the driver turned left and the object turned right. The object then turned around, moved behind the car and followed the car for about 75 feet( 22.5 m), turned left and quickly left.
That night, the Sheriff's office received several calls about a strange illuminated object.

Then the object made its way back toward the road and took a position directly over the car at a very low altitude. The object had an L-shaped light pattern on the underside with two brilliant red lights and one green light. The glow from the red lights lit up the inside of the car and both occupants became hysterical. When the car reached the county road, the driver turned left and the object turned right. Then the object swung around and moved in behind the car and followed the fleeing vehicle for about 75 feet, turned left, and moved away at a high rate of speed. The sheriffs office received several calls about a strange lighted object in the area that night.
