Troops and police were reportedly searching for a creature similar to a multi-legged dinosaur roaming the surrounding forests.

Local farmer Antonio Samorini reported that chased him, a huge scaly creature with a length of at least 15 ft (4.5 m). He walked on thick legs, and his breath was hot.

The farmer ran for his life. The police found strange footprints in the clearing.
