Le 14 juin 2004, à environ 2 heures du matin, un étudiant, résidant au cœur de la commune de Lamor-Baden (située dans le département de Morbihan, dans l’Est de la France), a observé, pendant environ 1,5 seconde, une boule bleue très lumineuse.

« Une observation surement explicable mais je n'ai toujours pas de réponses à ce jour.
C'était il y a longtemps mais je m'en souviens bien car le lendemain je repassais pour la seconde fois le bac. J'étais stressée et j'avais décidé de me coucher tôt. Mais à 22h15 environ, mon réveil matin se mit à se réinitialiser tout seul (par onde radio) et les aiguilles se mirent à tourner frénétiquement, me réveillant... après cet incident j'avais du mal à me rendormir. Soudain vers 2h00 du matin, alors que j'ouvrais les yeux, je vis passer dans l'encadrement de ma porte fenêtre juste au-dessus de chez nous, une boule bleue très lumineuse (sans "queue") filer à toute allure. Impossible de savoir si elle descendait ou montait, ni même sa distance par rapport au sol. En tout cas j'étais assez "excitée" pour avoir encore plus de mal à m'endormir... le lendemain matin, j'ai ai parlé à mon père, puis en montant en voiture pour aller à mon examen, les compteurs et voyants de la voitures s'affolèrent un bon moment avant de se remettre à la normal. Je ne sais pas s’il y a de corrélation mais je voulais le souligner.
J'ai déjà vu des étoiles filantes de grosses et petites tailles, une comète (Halley), un petit météore à paris (lumière vive et grande trainée), des feux d’artifice, mais je n'ai rien vu de tel. J'ai regardé des phénomènes aérospatiaux sur Google Image et rien de semblable. »
