This photo taken by photographer Joshua Rozells in Nambung National Park in Western Australia raises many questions.
Firstly, what are these objects on earth? In the foreground are the picturesque stone pillars known as Pinnacles. It is known that they consist of limestone, but the specific process that created such bizarre shapes has not yet been determined.
Despite the mystery of the limestone pillars, the sky behind them looks incredible. However, in fact, everything is very simple — these are satellite tracks captured using a long shutter speed camera (about two hours). Most of them are from Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, but not all.
This picture vividly demonstrates another problem that humanity has created for itself. There are more and more satellites in the sky, and they are beginning to greatly interfere with the study of the Universe — astronomers are very concerned about this circumstance.
