The witness was camping in a wooded area and was forced to go outside to satisfy a physiological need, after which he noticed a pale blue light on a nearby trail.
Curiously, he approached the light and saw two tall, slender silhouettes (about seven feet (2.1 m) tall). Meanwhile, the lights in the camp went out, and his flashlight turned off, at the same time he heard a creaking sound. Then he shouted to the figures:
"Who are you?"
After a few seconds, one of the figures raised his right hand, and a bright blue flash of light blinded the witness, then nothing, and soon the camp lights and the flashlight were lit again.
The next day, he went to the place where he had seen the figures, and found a burnt circle on the ground and several broken branches. Also on the same day, he saw a pale blue sphere hovering low over the forest.

The next day he went to the place where he had seen the figures and found a scorched circle on the ground and some broken branches. Also that same day he saw a pale blue sphere hovering low over the woods.
