The man was driving on a rural two-lane road outside the city when he had to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision with a giant flying creature in the middle of the road. The giant bird was only a few yards away and was feeding on prey on the road.
The witness, passionately hungry, was struck by the size of the creature, which was at least four feet tall, and its head protruded above the roof line of his car.
The bird was covered with very dark brown or black feathers. The head seemed dominant, but not too proportional to her body. The neck seemed long and slightly curved. The beak was very long and large, and the eyes were very dark. But the feature that stood out was the huge wingspan of the bird. The wingspan was as wide as a two-lane road. The creature had a very muscular upper body, and the wings looked like his hands.
The wing tips stirred up dust and gravel on both sides of the roadway as the wing took off into the air. Later, the witness returned to the scene and measured the distance across the road from edge to edge, it was 21 feet (6.3 m). The witness stated that he was in a slight shock when he watched the creature fly away.

The creature had a very muscular upper torso and the wings were as if they were its arms. The wing tips stirred the dust and gravel on both sides of the roadway as it ran to become airborne. The witness later returned to the site and measured the distance across the road from edge to edge, it was 2 1 feet. The witness stated that he was in a slight state of shock as he watched the creature fly off.
