Initial data
1) I was in a work truck at a place called Calamity Ridge between Rangely and Meeker, Colorado.
2) While driving, I looked at the horizon.
3) I thought it was an inversion trail from a jet plane.
4) It wasn't an object. Just a visual anomaly that I can't explain. I couldn't tell if it was a jet plane that crashed or something that took off into the sky. It was supposed to be 100 miles away, but there was nothing on the news.
5) I was just confused and confused. I thought someone else could explain it to me, so I took two pictures (not published). I've asked a few people from aviation and astronomy, but they don't seem to be able to figure it out either.
6) The inversion trail / shadow just dissipated in a matter of minutes.
