A man from Mahopac, New York, went outside to get something from his car. On the street, he heard a humming or humming, similar to the sound of an industrial electrical transformer.
He noticed a large oval-shaped object that blocked out the moonlight and cast a shadow on the clouds. As the object flew over his house, the sound peaked, and the air around him seemed to get warmer.
He says that this object itself did not emit light.
