Initial data
Friday, November 26, 2004, at about 11 am, my husband and stepson and I decided to cut down a Christmas tree in the mountains. We headed to Gifford Pinchot National Forest to find the perfect tree for our home.
We did it, and I took a picture of my husband and stepson cutting down a tree. The discovery was made this afternoon, Sunday, November 28, 2004, when my husband downloaded the camera to view the photos I had taken.
The picture and the little green circle were what interested him. Among the mist of trees and shrubs, a small green circle.
When my husband zoomed in on the small green circle, you could see two eyes and a nose. Despite being green and lost among trees and shrubs, it doesn't look like part of the landscape.

Summary: Friday November 26, 2004 about l1 am, my husband, stepson and I decided to cut down our own Christmas tree in the mountains. We made our way up to Gifford Pinchot National Forest to find the perfect tree for our home. We did, and I took pictures as my husband and step-son cut the tree down. The discovery was made this afternoon, Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004 when my husband uploaded his camera to see the pictures I had taken. The picture and the little green circle is what caught his interest. Among the mist of trees and brush is a small green circle. When my husband enlarged the picture of the little green circle, two eyes and a nose can be seen. Even though it is green and comaflaged within the trees and brush, it does not look like part of the scenery. I would appreciate your input and your thoughts or if I am totally out of my mind.

Hypotheses
Re-reflections in lens lenses from a strong light source

The lens consists of a set of lenses (in some lenses - of mirrors), designed for mutual compensation of aberrations and assembled into a single system.
From the contour light (bright light sources behind the subject or next to it), caught in the frame or located outside the frame, parasitic reflections from the internal elements of the lens are formed, called glare (or in slang "hares").
