Two witnesses were walking through a wooded area on a dead-end street when they heard the crunch of branches and dead leaves.
Looking in the direction of the noise, both were stunned to see something that at first they thought was a Great Dane, although the head was shaped like a horse's head, more like a camel's.
At first he was on all fours, but suddenly he got up and walked perfectly on his hind legs. Witnesses noticed what looked like small wings on his back. Horrified bystanders left the area.
When one of the witnesses was shown a picture of the Jersey Devil, he agreed that it was similar to what he had seen.
