Independent observers reported seeing 2 mysterious bird-like creatures in their backyards.
They described a bird three feet (0.9 m) tall with a face like a turkey hopping across the yards of several homes in North Miami. The birds are said to be black with white spots, with toucan-like beaks and a wingspan of seven feet (2.1 m).
Police tried to catch him with the help of the Wildlife Conservation Center in Fort Lauderdale, but he flew away. Such a creature has been seen at least 10 times in this area.
