Mr. Milland, woke up while it was still dark outside and remembered that one night he found himself being held in some kind of medical bed. He was drugged and tubes were inserted into his mouth and other parts of his body. The kidnappers inserted a very large and painful hypodermic needle into his thigh.
He remembered seeing clothed figures, but the faces were indistinct. He also recalled seeing an "alien" form sitting in the shade next to his bed, at one point holding his hand. The creature had an oval-shaped head, a thin upper body, and rather thin, as well as very thin, arms. Milland couldn't make out the features.
He sat up in bed and saw the bright colored lights reflected in the door. Then he heard a low rumbling sound coming from the house outside.
