At a local homeless shelter, Michael Thompson woke up and, sitting on the edge of his bed, saw gray figures 5 or 6 feet tall (1.5-1.8 m) standing by his bed and staring at him.

He described them as a "typical" gray variety with large, oval-shaped black eyes that stared at him and seemed to shake their heads in disbelief. Then the figures disappeared.
