In 1983, a little boy, Samuel Hartley, making its way among the rescue team, and opened the body bag of the deceased fire man, revives a badly burned corpse with the words "Arise and be healed".

Night Leonard Vance – man, busy with Samuel after a fire ten years ago and became the assistant to the Calvin Hartley sees the Ghost of Samuel with bruises on the face, which accuses him of betraying the Church and the guilt in the murders. Vance confesses and repents of his anger due to the fact that he was raised with such a horrible appearance and forced to endure ongoing pain.
