Los cinco caballos en el corral de M. Meingo estaban asustados por "algo brillante" con ojos muy brillantes, "muy pálidos y de color verde brillante".
Vio sus ojos a unos 3.75 pies (1.1 m) sobre el Suelo, volvió a entrar en el castillo para tomar su escopeta y, a su regreso, vio una "sombra voladora" persiguiendo a los caballos.
Los animales asustados dejaron en el lugar grandes daños materiales.

Summary: Five horses in the paddock of M Meingault were panicked by “something shining,” with intensely bright eyes “of a very pale, brilliant green;” he saw the eyes approximately 3.75 ft above the ground, re-entered the chateau to get his gun, and on his return, saw a “flying shadow” pursuing the horses. There was much material damage left at the site by the frightened animals.
