Initial data
At first I thought that a high voltage line was sparking. When I looked more closely, I noticed an orange-colored point light source with an apparent diameter of about 3 mm above the horizon between the clouds. The flashes appeared from this source and resembled the brilliance of a flashbulb: white light with a slight orange tint.
The flare had an angular size about 4 times the size of the full Moon and the shape of an ellipse, with the large semi-axis facing perpendicular to the earth.
These were relatively short flashes, sometimes illuminating only the front of the clouds, and sometimes the ground. At that time, I saw all the objects on the ground. Around 24-00 I noticed that there is a correlation between the crackle in the radio and the flashes. The crackle was with the loss of sound of the specified radio station (Irena). This consisted in the fact that at the moment of the crackling lasting a fraction of a second, the sound began to disappear for 4-5 seconds.
I was interested in an unusual phenomenon and I began to observe further. ]the weather was good and the sky was cloudless over the Ursinus. There was absolute silence, interrupted by the crackle of the radio. It was visible 0-10 when looking at the sky, I noticed that a flash appeared in the southern part of it above the forest. This source was also stationary and once I saw it briefly when it peeked out from behind the clouds. It was an orange-colored hemisphere with an angular size of 2-3 moons.
About half an hour later, as the source appeared over the forest, I heard 2 planes take off. I think the crew must have seen the sources or flashes.
I finished the observation at 1-00 and did not notice that anything had changed.
