UFO SIGHTINGS IN MOSCOW ON FEBRUARY 17, 1979
UFOs were observed by two witnesses from the area of the Novye Cheryomushki metro station. The morning was frosty, the temperature = - 14 °. The sky is cloudy. At sunrise, the clouds were maroon-purple. The UFO was detected at 7:44 a.m. and left the observation area at 8:08 a.m.
1. Why was it a UFO?
Externally, the UFO looked like a cloud. But it was the only cloud that:
- It moved in space,
- made a U- turn around the axis,
- very often it changed its size and the strength of the glow,
- it disappeared periodically or turned into a luminous dot, appearing again.
All these actions took place against the background of a completely motionless picture of the sky.
2. Description of the UFO.
The UFO had an elongated shape of large dimensions (3-5 self-summer hulls and 10-15 in length). The opaque shell seemed to be made of a light and flexible material, resembling the balloon "sausage" from the time of the 2nd World War. The volume of UFOs is somewhat
blurred and rippled in the eyes, as if the object was continuously vibrating. It seems that the UFO body was enveloped by an air (gas) wednesday.
UFO Glow
At the time of detection, the UFO had a pink sheen. The clouds illuminated by the sun had the same color. The glow of a UFO is similar to the glow of an incandescent light bulb - the "main band" was clearly visible - clearer in tone and stronger in brightness.
When removing a UFO, only this thread is actually visible. Throughout the entire observation, the thread was of red tones. At the same time, the glow of the UFO had a continuous pulsed character.
The greatest intensity of the pulsation of the glow was observed before and during the division of the UFO. During the division of the UFO, waves of red gas (air) seemed to roll at the point of separation of the object. The division lasted no more than 20-30 seconds. The detached part was at least half of the hull of a large passenger aircraft.
The detached part disappeared from view extremely quickly.
At 7.58, the UFO appeared directly from the black clouds and was bright yellow in color. At that moment, the UFO was closest to the observer.
The UFO stuck out of the clouds like a "finger". It is not clear whether the UFO is able to take on the color of the environment or has its own glow. Sunlight had no effect on the planes-they all had black hulls. Not a single aircraft (and there were three of them) left an inversion trace in the time intervals 7.44 - 8.08.
3. UFO Movement
UFOs made movements of various types:
- pulsation of the UFO body
- rotation around the horizontal axis and perpendicular to the frontal plane.
- moving in space.
Fluctuations in the hull were constantly observed. Body rotations are marked §-" Timing of UFO positions. When turning the body, the following remains unclear: is the vertical position indifferent to the ends of the body or is the upper position occupied by
is it strictly the same end of the UFO body?
The UFO's movements are smooth. Most often, the object hovers, rotating around a horizontal axis. When planes appeared in the immediate vicinity, the uFO always left, developing great speed. The speed of UFO removal is many times faster than the speed of an airplane. It was not possible to determine whether the UFO leaves with acceleration or whether the colossal speed develops immediately from a static position?
When the UFO was moving in space at any speed, there were no contrails left.
Conclusion
UFOs adapt well to the environment. The UFO did not perform any actions capable of attracting human attention (the exception is the case when a UFO appeared directly from the clouds at 7:58. Therefore, it is quite difficult to detect the presence of UFOs. The time and area of observation of this UFO completely coincides with the observation of I.V. Filipenko.
(I informed you about this case in a letter, where I forwarded the material on this issue. See your work "UFO sightings in Moscow on November 1, 1978.)
From November 1, 1978 to February 17, 1979, UFOs were observed at the same time and in the same place 2 more times.
