UFO. Estonia

A report by L.I. Blukova on the observation of an unusual phenomenon in the city of Kohtla-Yarva of the SSR.

On September 12, 1985 at 22-05, to the right of the Capella star (in the northeastern part of the firmament) at an angle of about 35-40 degrees to the horizon, I saw a glowing UFO, similar to a shuttlecock, rather cone-shaped, where there was a round object on top of the cone. Under the cone, an oval blue spot glowed at a short distance. The system was perceived as a flat formation located at a great distance from the observer. The apparent dimensions (of an object with a cone of light) were about two times the diameter of the moon at the zenith.

The shuttlecock glowed white, the area was not illuminated by it because of the great distance. The contours of the figure were clear.

Very soon, the "shuttlecock" began to fade and fade, starting from the lower right corner, as if going behind a cloud. The contours became smeared, but the shape did not change. Soon the glow completely disappeared, and the spot remained visible for a long time, slowly moving to the west. At the same time, the size of the spot increased, the contours became blurred, the brightness of the glow decreased. I observed the spot until 22-50. The observation was carried out from the room through the window

The weather was clear. The planes were not flying at the moment.
