Initial data
Lyudmila Abramova writes to the Commission on:
I read your article about UFOs in the newspaper for January 30, 1985 and decided to write. I had to observe something similar to the object described in the article together with friends in the month of October 1984.
About 23 o'clock we were returning home. It was a clear autumn evening. the stars were shining brightly in the sky. Suddenly, on the eastern side of the sky, we saw glowing lights arranged in a circle, or rather, this circle more closely resembled the shape of an ellipse. The lights shone in different shades of red and yellow, and a bluish streak of light was visible around the lights. Also, a slight glow was observed inside the ellipse. But then the lights began to gradually lose brightness, and then disappeared altogether, having made a circle of rotation. We didn't attach any importance to this. But after the article was printed, we decided to write to you.
Perhaps this is of some interest for the study of UFOs. Yes, I will also add that what we observed was, according to our calculations, about 30 degrees from the horizon and from the moment we saw this object, the glow of the lights lasted about 20 minutes.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
