Initial data
A letter to the Commission on AYA at VSNTO from Moskvin:
The other day I read an article in Trud "Exactly at 4.10" about a flying object. I want to say that I've seen something similar too, though I can't say the exact number.
It was already in the fall (about the end of October) somewhere at the beginning of the fifth morning (I worked at night).
on the horizon, in the northwest, I saw a large yellow dot - I took it for a bright big star.
Then the star flared up and a sheaf of light formed from it, resembling a beam of a high-power searchlight lowered down to earth.
This lasted for 7-10 minutes, then the spotlight went out, a green glow resembling an ellipse went from the "star". The glow grew in size more and more, at the same time the "star" began to move away.
At the place where the object was located, a shroud resembling fog began to spread to the equals in a semicircle.
The veil grew rapidly (the night was starry) in size, after about 15 minutes it reached me, it became colder and a lot grayer than before.
I saw it in the village of Vasilevsky Moss of the Kalinin region.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
