I observed an object similar to the one described in the newspaper "Trud" from 30.1.85 according to the following signs: a glowing disk and a light beam emanating from it, a turquoise cloud; a light circle the size of a rainbow (the whole was not visible because of the houses). and the distribution of light does not say that it is light, but rather a luminous gas.On September 7, 1984, at 04:20 to 04:40, a similar phenomenon was observed over Leningrad. I entered the room at the moment when a disk (1) the size of the Moon with a ray coming out of it was visible. Then I turned away to take the glasses (2-3 seconds).
When I looked again, another picture opened (2). The disk was not visible, but it seemed that it shone from the top of the beam or turned into a dark spot surrounded by a lighter one. There was "smoke" or "gas" in the beam.
The turquoise cloud came from nowhere. Then the circle of the sky around the ray and the cloud began to lighten, the disk of owls-
sam disappeared. A ray and a cloud remained a little bit, the latter was clearly visible, while, however, the sky in the circle had the color of an overcast daytime sky, the circle was clearly marked (3), there was a darker sky behind the circle. Below, everything became as bright as day.
Then the circle began to darken as gradually.At this time, I looked at my watch, it was 40 hours and 23 minutes; I had only observed all the previous 2-3 minutes. Then it became completely dark, but the turquoise cloud continued to be visible and glowing. The sky that day was clear, the stars were visible.
The cloud gradually moved away and after 20 minutes turned into a strip on the horizon. By the way it moved, it was below the clouds.
The glowing disk appeared directly from the north. The angle of view of the disk relative to the horizon is approximately 30 - 45 °. Beam angle 60°
The glowing circle almost found its edge on me; about 4 - 10° was missing; the light from the beam (60°) was not visible to me. He was falling somewhere to the west.
