A letter to the Commission on AYA from Moskovina Lyudmila Vasilyevna:

I read the article "Exactly at 4.10" in the newspaper "Trud", I remembered, as it seemed to me, not an ordinary phenomenon seen on September 7, 1984 at 4-10 in the morning and about which I made an entry in my book. Being impressed by what I saw, I also made three drawings.

Here is the entry in my book:

"On September 7, 1984, at 4-10 in the morning, a blue ball (circle) with a gray hazy halo with clear edges was observed in the sky, which gradually turned, as it were, into a slit of blue (celestial) color in the black sky."

And now I will describe in detail.

At 4-10 am on September 7, when I woke up, I saw in the window a smooth, clear edge of gray foggy sky, and behind it the usual black starry sky. I thought: "what is this strange cloud?"

I got up to see what was out there.

In the sky I saw a clear stationary circle with a diameter of 40-50 cm of blue (what is the sky during the day) color, around it a halo diiameter 3 times larger than the blue circle, gray impenetrable (what are the clouds at night), also with clear smooth edges. Ha, this halo is an ordinary black sky with stars. It felt like there was a hole in the sky.

It seemed to me that something unusual was happening. I woke my husband up, I thought he was a former paratrooper after all, maybe he knows something about what's going on. He hasn't seen anything like it either and doesn't know what it is.

We began to observe further: a clear circle lasted for 10-15 minutes, then its edges became mobile, uneven, as if they were being tightened by a gray nebula, the halo itself became smaller in diameter.

Then a tail stretched out from the blue circle and a "comma" turned out. This tail slowly stretched out.

despite the fact that we were very excited by the sight, we still decided to go to bed again, deciding that this circle would soon tighten and disappear. But after sleeping for 20 minutes, I jumped up again to the window.

There was no longer a circle in the sky, but there was, as it were, a narrow slit of the same blue sky, which seemed to be being covered by fog after all.

I do not know how it all ended, because I went to bed again.

In the morning I immediately made an entry in my notebook and made three drawings (although I can't draw). Unfortunately, since that time, one drawing with a "comma" has disappeared and I have drawn it now.
