A local police officer saw what appeared to be a large bird flying in the dark sky over the surrounding area.
It had a long neck and a sort of elongated snout instead of a beak, and wings that seemed to have no feathers, but rather something like the movable appendages or false "wings" of a manta ray.
The officer claims to have often seen the creature flying over the area.
