« ... I report that on 23 May 1985, during the planned training flights in the 277th Bombing Aviation Regiment (Hurba airfield of the Komsomol district of Khabarovsk region) at 22 hours 35 minutes local time near the airfield, an unidentified flying object of pale-orange color ellipse-shaped, which was moving at a speed of 500-600 km/h at an altitude of 200-300 meters in the west direction was observed near the airfield.

The unidentified flying object was observed by the head of flights Lt. Col. Alifanov A.A., the head of operations in the near zone Captain Shevnin A.Yu, the head of the meteorological group of the regiment Captain Stikin V.P.
