Valentina Smirnova, a resident of lubomirovsky village in the Shaksnin district, claims to have seen a UFO.

According to Valentina Alexandrovna, who is already in her 70s, she saw a strange object on one of the February nights, but told about it only recently. That night the woman did not sleep, and about two o'clock she suddenly noticed that her bedroom window had lightened.

"I see the glow is getting closer," the pensioner recalls. So it's not a fire. But then what? Let's see what's moving there... There's more and more fires. And the glow moves unevenly, and as if it flies, - Valentina Alexandrovna depicted a wave with her hand. According to her, about a hundred meters from the bedroom window the glow stopped.

"I looked closely, and this is a flying saucer," the woman assures. "All the lights are on. There's an umbrella up above me, and there's some things like two black skis on top of me. And their socks are sharp. I don't know what kind of sleep it is! Suddenly the plate moves again, all bright light is illuminated.

Again, she flew to the same place and turned right at me. She twirled, twirled, and then to the ground she sank. UFO landed or not, I do not know: I could not see well from the yards. And then it all went missing.

The first time to tell about a UFO woman decided only a week - after watching a TV show, which reported about the same flying saucer. However, the villagers were skeptical about her story. Although the pensioner herself is sure that she saw a UFO.

"Why would I lie?" she says.

Interestingly, as the Sheksnin district newspaper "Star" writes, UFOs were visited in any region and in the 90s.
