An eyewitness from Rotterdam writes:

I was watching the falling stars with friends when my eyes noticed an object that at first looked like a super-bright star. This object hung almost directly above us. At that moment I immediately reported it to two people next to me, and they saw it too. The moment we looked at it, the sphere became less bright and began to jump back and forth nervously, then completely disappeared in the flash.

ROTTERDAM, ZH — Ik was samen met vrienden vallende sterren aan het spotten toen mijn oog viel een object wat in eerste instantie op een super felle ster leek. Dit object hing om en nabij recht boven ons. Op dat moment lichte ik gelijk de 2 personen naast mij in, en zij zagen dit ook. Op het moment dat wij met zijn 3e er naar keken werd de bol minder fel en begon zenuwachtig heen en weer te springen, waarna hij geheel verdween in een flits.
