Major J. B. Popov, Novosibirsk, along with Lieutenant A. S. Nikitenko and several local residents saw the cascade of lights, rushing through the night sky from the North-East in the ranks with an even number.
The lights were located on the surface of a very large cigar-shaped object, the impression that ocean-going vessel was flying through the sky in absolute silence at an altitude of about 0.6 miles.
This was observed for two or three minutes. It passed almost over head and flew into space.
