An eyewitness from Rotterdam writes:

I was busy with dialogue on the phone with my friend and suddenly saw a very bright flash of light in the sky. This light appeared out of nowhere, stopped for a moment, and when I looked at him, he suddenly flew away and disappeared.

It was not a plane, I'm sure not a shooting star. This light began to fly in a straight line to the South-West for 1/2 seconds and suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. It all happened so fast.

I always thought those stories about UFOs and aliens were nonsense, but the inexplicable light that suddenly disappeared for a second, made me think.

ROTTERDAM, ZH — Ik was even bezig op mijn telefoon, samen met mijn vriend, en zag ineens in de lucht een hele heldere lichtflits . Dat licht kwam uit het niks, stond even stil en toen ik er naar keek vloog die ook ineens weg en verdween die .Dit was geen vliegtuig, ik weet zeker dat dit ook geen vallende ster was . Dat licht ging binnen 1/2 seconden heel snel in een rechte lijn zuidwesten vliegen en verdween ineens uit het niks. Het ging allemaal zo snel. Ik vond deze verhalen over UFO’s en aliens normaal altijd onzin, maar dat onverklaarbare licht dat ineens verdween binnen een seconden deed me wel even denken.
